Dr Senayon Olaoluwa of our programme in Diaspora and Transnational Studies will present the 4th lecture in the IAS-CODESRIA Staff Seminar Series, which comes up on 24 April, 2019 at Lady Bank-Anthony Hall, 11:00 a.m.

The topic of Dr Olaoluwa’s lecture is ‘The Monotony of Natural Agency: Human Evolution as Diaspora Discourse’. It promises to be an exciting lecture as Dr Olaoluwa takes us to the very beginning in his understanding of the concept of diaspora as a primary condition for the existence of the world and all that is within it.

The Chair of the occasion is Prof Dan Izevbaye, the renowned literary scholar-critic.

The IAS-CODESRIA Staff Seminar Series is supported with funding from the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA). Central to its objective is to bring the lectures in the series directly to postgraduate students across universities on the continent through livestreaming. A link to the livestreaming channel will be provided on our website on the day of the lecture.
