Tony Marinho, medical doctor and social activist, orator, poet and writer, a friend of our Institute, is showing a different side of his creative personality in a photographic exhibition mounted in the IAS foyer.

The exhibition tagged ‘YOU DON’T KNOW ME! runs from May 29 to August 31. In many of these forty photographs, Dr Marinho uses a composite technique of mirroring to create a double-take effect in his presentation of objects and scenarios abstracted from the daily run of life.

The IAS foyer is often put to service in this manner. Its spatial versatility has seen it being used for presenting talks, performances, installations, etc.

The general public is invited to this exhibition of the photography of Tony Marinho, which has earlier been put up in Lagos. As the publicity poster announces, ‘The already well-framed works are for sale!’
