From 26 September to 31 October 2019, the trio of Bola Opadiran, Bolaji Aremu, and Joseph Kolawole will have their works mounted in the Cornelius Adepegba Museum of African Art (CAMAA) in a joint exhibition titled The Tentacles, curated by Prof. O.I. Pogoson, immediate past IAS Director.
From me to you, Bolaji Aremu
Working in different idioms of mixed media and adopting a variety of art-making processes, the three artists, who are having their first joint exhibition together as a collective, intend to use this exhibition to launch another phase of their movement, the Three Arts Tentacles, which they have already incorporated as a venture with a vision to building it into a going concern comprising both joint studio, joint workshop, and joint gallery for training other artists to develop their own approaches and visions.
Individually, they have several exhibitions across the world to their credit.

The general public is invited to nourish their sights on Aremu’s rich and full palette of colours, strengthen their resolve with Kolawole’s firm framework of scrap metal and wood, and embrace the connexions between the organic and inorganic aspects of experience in the found delights of Bola Opadiran.
CAMAA is the place.
